From Swimming lessons, to walking football and everything in-between we are driven to provide fun and welcoming sessions to support the whole community to be active, both within our leisure centres and in the local community.

Our group exercise programme is a thriving and successful element to our service.

We are looking for someone who is able to coordinate the creation and running of the group fitness class programmes which is integral to our operation.

You will review and amend the program on a regular basis ensuring the classes remain fresh and profitable.

We are looking for someone who is a team player, organised, and has knowledge and understanding of the fitness industry however IT skills and some marketing skills would also be a desirable in this role.


The good thing is that we provide you with full training and great potential for career progression, we have over 100 facilities across England and Wales - many of our staff have built successful careers with us because they love the having a positive impact in their local communities and enjoy the variety that the role provides.


Hours: 5 hours a week, Monday to Sunday

Requirements:

  • To coordinate the creation and running of the fitness class program
  • To report attendance and profitability of the fitness program in line with company standards
  • To review and amend the program on a regular basis to ensure the program remains fresh and profitable
  • Liaise with marketing to produce the class program and supporting marketing collateral to maximise class occupancy and efficiency
  • Coordinate fitness class promotions including member motivation events, relaunches and new class promotions
  • To make appropriate equipment available to users of the facilities to enable them to make proper use of the facilities and classes offered, ensuring regular equipment checks and planned maintenance to reduce downtime
  • Monitor new developments in the leisure industry and complete research regarding the benefit of introducing new trends and fitness activities
  • To interview and audition new instructors
