Finance Manager - Worksop -£35,000

Finance Manager Responsibilities:

  • Lead the finance team and oversee the work of the purchase ledger
  • Produce monthly management accounts
  • Assist with the financial reporting and work with the external auditing team
  • To produce monthly and annual budgets and ensure these budgets are complied with
  • Develop and improve the company's purchase order system
  • Maintain intercompany accounts and resolve discrepancies
  • Assist with company VAT returns
  • Providing advice on compliance with VAT regulations

What we're looking for:

  • A qualified (ACCA/ACA/CIMA) or QBE accountant with post qualification experience
  • Experience of working in the education sector would be seen as beneficial
  • Knowledge of working with double entry bookkeeping
  • Previous experience of overseeing a finance team

Hours:

  • Fulltime, Monday to Friday
