We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Valuations Director to join our M&A team. The Valuations Director will play a critical role in providing expert valuation analysis and insights to support our clients' M&A activities. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on a wide range of high-profile transactions and collaborate with talented professionals in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

1. Valuation Analysis:

Conduct comprehensive valuation analyses using various methodologies, including discounted cash flow (DCF), comparable company analysis (CCA), precedent transactions, and other relevant approaches.

Perform in-depth financial modeling to assess the value of target companies and assets, considering factors such as growth prospects, industry dynamics, and market conditions.

Prepare detailed valuation reports and presentations summarizing key findings, assumptions, and conclusions for internal and external stakeholders.

2. Due Diligence Support:

Collaborate closely with the M&A deal team to assess the financial and strategic implications of potential transactions.

Assist in conducting financial due diligence, reviewing target company financial statements, contracts, and other relevant documents to identify risks and opportunities.

Provide expert analysis and insights on valuation-related issues, helping to inform deal structuring and negotiation strategies.

3. Client Advisory:

Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, offering expert guidance on valuation matters throughout the M&A process.

Communicate complex valuation concepts and findings in a clear and concise manner, tailored to the needs of diverse stakeholders.

Provide strategic insights and recommendations to clients based on valuation analyses, market trends, and industry best practices.

4. Thought Leadership:

Stay abreast of developments in valuation methodologies, regulatory requirements, and industry trends, sharing insights with internal teams and clients as needed.

Contribute to the development of thought leadership content, including articles, white papers, and presentations, showcasing the firm's expertise in valuation-related topics.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; advanced degree (e.g., MBA, CFA) preferred.

Minimum of 9 years of experience in financial valuation, with a focus on M&A transactions.

Strong proficiency in financial modelling and valuation techniques, with expertise in Excel and valuation software.

Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to synthesize complex financial information and draw meaningful conclusions.

Proven track record of successfully managing valuation engagements and delivering high-quality results under tight deadlines.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients and internal stakeholders at all levels.

Strategic mindset with a deep understanding of M&A dynamics, deal structuring, and transaction execution.
