Salary:
The full-time equivalent is £19,291 per annum, increasing to £19,677 after probation has ended. The pro rata salary is£8,342 per annum, increasing to £8,509 per annum following probationary.

Hours:16 Hours per week.

Days & Times:
Thursday and Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm

The Role - Your main duties will include:

  • Responsible for the management of the Health & Safety system for the Head Office, satellite offices and staff of the Trust.
  • Reviewing and maintaining H&S policies to ensure legal compliance. Managing the H&S portal by monitoring individual and team audits.
  • Ensuring staff using their own vehicles for business purposes are legally compliant.
  • Monitoring and updating Lone Working policies currently in place throughout the Trust's offices.
  • Producing, distributing and communicating H&S policies.
  • Risk assessment duties. This includes but is not limited to Fire Safety procedures, First Aid training, Accidents report keeping and COVID19 updates.
  • Adhoc admin duties as part of the Head Office HR team.

Skills, Experience and Qualifications
- We are looking for someone with the following attributes:

  • GCSE Grade 'C' or equivalent in English and Maths. A NEBOSH qualification would be desirable but is not essential.
  • Understanding of Health & Safety practices in the workplace.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Experience of working within a customer service environment.
  • The ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative.
  • The ability to prioritise and manage workload effectively.

Previous roles you may have experience in: HR Administrator, Safety Engineer/Administrator, Occupational H&S Specialist, H&S Inspector.
