Job Title: Executive Director & Joint CEO (Maternity Cover) at Camden People's Theatre

Camden People's Theatre is currently seeking a dynamic individual to fill the role of Executive Director for a 12-month maternity cover position. As the Executive Director, you will collaborate closely with the Artistic Director in spearheading the organization and overseeing a team comprising the General Manager, Development Manager, Deputy General Manager, and Marketing Manager. Your role will involve providing robust leadership, ensuring the effective management of CPT, and actively contributing to the strategic direction of the organization.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Maintaining and nurturing strong relationships with funders and stakeholders
    • Guiding the team through periods of transition and change
    • Driving essential fundraising initiatives, including the upcoming NPO application to Arts Council England
    • Overseeing the financial aspects of the organization

We are looking for a candidate with a solid background in financial management, exceptional team management skills, and a proven track record in fundraising. Whether you have experience as an Interim ED, consultant, fundraising head/director, or exec producer, we need someone who can seamlessly integrate into the role and uphold our mission during this crucial interim period.

  • Working Hours: 4 days per week (32 hours), with specific working days to be determined
  • CPT's core working hours are 10 am to 6 pm, but flexibility for evening and weekend work may be necessary
  • Time Off In Lieu system and flexible working options available
  • 25 days holiday per year plus bank holidays
  • Location & Flexibility: Primarily based at the theatre in Camden with some remote working possibilities
