Legal Counsel Position at Sophos

As a Legal Counsel at Sophos, you will play a vital role in ensuring the sustainable growth of the company by managing risks in supplier, channel, and customer contracts. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing legal advice on new business projects and managing associated risks.
  • Negotiating various agreements globally with a commercial perspective.
  • Drafting custom contracts to align with business requirements.
  • Enhancing processes and seeking efficiencies to mitigate overall company risks.
  • Conducting legal research and collaborating with external counsel when necessary.

The ideal candidate should be a qualified solicitor with over 5 years of experience in commercial law, particularly in an IT environment. Problem-solving skills, contract drafting expertise, and a commercial-minded approach are essential for this role. Additionally, creativity in finding solutions, openness to learning, and a collaborative mindset are valued qualities in a fast-paced setting.

Furthermore, experience in data privacy is preferred for this position.
