Part-Time Night Porter Receptionist Role at Hartfields Extra Care Retirement Village
Part-Time Hours and Competitive Pay
- 12 hours per week, with the option for additional shifts when needed
- £12.37 per hour (including a night enhancement for late-night shifts)
Hartfields is an vibrant retirement community located in Hartlepool, housing over 300 individuals aged 60 and above, offering independent living in modern apartments and cottages.
Within the village, you'll find a variety of amenities like a restaurant, coffee shop, bar, gym, and grocery store, all aimed at supporting residents to lead active and fulfilling lives.
About the Role
We are looking for a Night Porter Receptionist to provide a welcoming reception service to residents and visitors at Hartfields. Your responsibilities will include managing the entry system, ensuring site security, answering calls, monitoring CCTV, and addressing residents' concerns promptly, even involving emergency services when necessary.
After the evening hours, you will be in charge of the safety and well-being of all individuals on the premises.
You'll receive comprehensive training to excel in this role.
This position requires working from 6 pm to midnight on weekdays and 5:30 pm to 11:30 pm on weekends.
About You
- Prior experience in customer service
- Friendly demeanor and strong communication skills
- Comfortable with lone work and quick decision-making
- Basic knowledge of health & safety regulations
- Experience in security and CCTV operations preferred
