Role Responsibilities as the accomplished Building Surveyor:

  • Engaging in multiple regional projects across different sectors and carrying out a variety of building surveying tasks.
  • Utilizing and implementing common building contract forms like JCT and NEC.
  • Grasping the core principles of quality, safety, and environmental aspects in surveying, design, and project management.
  • Supervising, mentoring, and training Junior Building Surveying personnel.
  • Assisting senior managers in their daily responsibilities.
  • Conducting surveys, inspections, preparing schedules, delivering professional services, and overseeing regional projects.

Requirements for the successful Building Surveyor:

  • A B.Sc. (Hons) in Building Surveying or equivalent RICS accredited qualification.
  • Chartered status.
  • Solid technical surveying expertise and substantial building surveying background.
  • Experience in managing clients with a strong business focus.
  • Proficient in drafting technical documentation, including asset evaluations, feasibility studies, specifications, and drawings.
  • Thorough understanding of Health and Safety regulations and Statutory Compliance.
  • Effective time management, punctuality, and dedication to task completion.
  • Keenness to pursue continuous learning opportunities to stay updated, enjoy aiding colleagues in their growth.
  • Contributing to a positive, collaborative atmosphere, fostering relationships within teams and with clients.
  • Respecting diverse perspectives and striving for optimal outcomes in discussions.
