Band 2 Porter/Housekeeper - Endoscopy Unit 37.5 Hours Available

We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join the Endoscopy team at Carlisle. The role will involve weekend work and bank holidays. Part-Time hours will be considered.

The role involves the transfer of patients, daily housekeeping duties. Managing the endoscopes going between the decontamination unit and Endoscopy.

The applicants should possess excellent IT skills as they will be trained to order all stock on our electronic system.

Excellent communication and IT skills are essential for this role.

Recommend coming to visit unit and spend day prior to interview.

Transfer of patients to and from wards/departments within the hospital

Daily cleaning and housekeeping duties

Ordering of Endoscopy stock

Management of Endoscopes (Storing within drying cabinets and removing)

Managing endoscopes going between Endoscopy Unit and Decontamination Unit

£18 + Administration cost of £3.85 = £21.85. Deducted at £6.85 from 1st month salary and £5 deducted from salary over following 3 months.

Enhanced Check:
£38 + administration cost of £3.90 = £41.90. Deducted at £11.90 from 1st month salary and £10 deducted from salary over following 3 months.
