Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Systems Administrator to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT system management, including experience with Salesforce, Atlassian products (Jira, Confluence, etc.) and M365. This role involves ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems, managing our software platforms, and supporting our team with any IT-related needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer, configure, and troubleshoot Salesforce, Atlassian products, and M365 ensuring optimal performance and security.
  • Building Jira workflows, integrations, and approval processes.
  • Manage user roles, permissions, and access to IT systems and software, including Salesforce and Atlassian products using SSO.
  • Perform system upgrades, patches, and maintenance activities while minimising impact on the business.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations, procedures, and service records.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to understand IT needs and provide effective solutions.
  • Implement and maintain IT security policies and procedures to protect organisational data and resources.
  • Provide technical support and training to users on Salesforce, Atlassian products, M365, and other IT systems.
  • Monitor system performance, identify issues, and implement improvements to enhance productivity.
  • Coordinate with vendors and external support teams to resolve system issues and implement new solutions.
  • Ensure appropriate system backups are in place and restores are tested.
  • Participate in IT projects, including system implementations, migrations, and integrations.

Required skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in system administration, particularly with Salesforce and Atlassian platforms.
  • Proven experience with Salesforce and Atlassian products (certifications preferred).
  • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, network management, and security principles.
  • Experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.) is desirable.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organisational skills with a detailed and methodical approach to work.
  • Willingness to learn new technologies and stay updated with the latest IT trends.
  • Experience in the financial sector is preferred but not essential.
