The Role
International Bible Advocacy Centre (IBAC) exists to inspire and resource Bible advocates.
The course tutor will take a lead in the development of a blended global course on Catalysing Bible Leaders and assist with content development and research for other IBAC initiatives.
Main responsibilities include:
- Design, drive and develop Catalysing Modules along with the others in the team through blended learning (both online and classroom learning models)
- Liaise with key global voices to develop the Leadership course syllabus
- Liaise with content developers to deliver the course modules online
- Work with digital and film producers to develop course content
- Deliver the online course content for online platforms (Learning Management System) and perform regular evaluation
- Identify and train course tutors in diverse cultural settings
- Conduct research to support the development of content for the Audience Pathways and contribute to the Global Bible Engagement research as it pertains to relevant areas of the course
- Engage with Global Audience Research stakeholders
- Liaise with the Research team to identify synergies between the Global Research and its relevance to the Catalysing Leadership programme of IBAC
- Organise and contribute to international conferences and public events
- Support the Head of IBAC and the team in delivering the formation of Catalysing Leaders and public events that demonstrate the relevance of the Bible
- Conceptualise, organise and lead Catalysing Leaders programmes of Bible Advocacy, in the West as pilots and then to other parts of the world
- Produce content for the IBAC website
About You
As Course Tutor and Research Associate you will have experience of writing and delivering (online and classroom based) short courses in theology and in developing the content through research and the ability to manage multiple projects.
- Teaching adults in an online or blended learning experience using a Learning Management System
- Engaging in the learning process with diverse groups of learners with biblical theological depth and contextual relevance
- Networking with leaders from across the world and experience in organising, coordinating and running conferences and public events
- International travel and working overseas is desirable
- Engaging in research and publication
