About the role


The SEO Consultant role is a new position we have created due to business growth and will play an instrumental role in supporting our organic team maximise clients website performance.


This role will work very closely with your direct team, led by our Strategic Director and you will report into our Organic Leads.

You will be responsible for delivering the SEO work needed for your clients.

The role will involve developing a full understanding of search engine marketing, assisting the team in the building and optimisation of campaigns, using both analytical and creative skills to fulfil a broad range of projects.


(60%) Account management (on site, content & technical):

  • Main point of contact for all client matters, anticipate client needs, and work within the company to ensure deadlines for client deliverables are met.
  • Monitor SEO performance for your client
  • Produce weekly, monthly and quarterly reports for allocated clients providing actionable insights and recommendations including ad hoc reports
  • Develop a deep understanding of each client's business and their unique needs, and create tailored strategies that align with their goals.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (ppc, creative, programmatic, etc.) to deliver a comprehensive digital marketing strategy for each client.
  • Identify opportunities for upselling and crossselling services to existing clients, contributing to agency growth.
  • Troubleshoot any issues that arise during the with account performance, resolving them in an efficient and timely manner.
  • Keep uptodate with industry trends, new market opportunities, and competitive activities to inform commercial strategies.
  • Utilise keyword research to identify highvalue search phrases to drive traffic that will convert into leads on web properties and be used within marketing materials.
  • Execution of on site SEO such as, title tag, meta description, URL, headings, images, internal links and more.
  • Write, edit, and optimise engaging, informative, and highquality content, including blog posts, articles, website copy, landing pages, and social media updates, adhering to SEO best practices and utilising AI tools.
  • Site audit: Conduct comprehensive technical site audits to identify and diagnose onsite SEO issues, such as crawl errors, broken links, duplicate content, and site speed.
  • Technical SEO execution such as site audits, settings for indexation, site speed optimisation, structured data implementation, URL structure and redirects.

(30%) Digital PR & linkbuilding:

  • Assist the integration of Digital PR within the agency
  • Create engaging and shareable content, such as press releases, blog posts, social media updates, infographics, and multimedia content, tailored to different digital platforms and audiences.
  • Media relations: Build and maintain relationships with online journalists, influencers, and bloggers to secure highquality media coverage and backlinks.
  • Execute daily strategies to acquire links towards clients' websites to boost their rankings on Google.

(10%) Freestyle:

  • Click Up organisation and management (project management system)
  • Assist Organic Lead on auditing and quality control of SEO
  • Review web analytics data to provide feedback to our internal team on performance, and to analyse visitor behavior and trends to develop next steps.
  • Build & manage strong relationships with suppliers
  • Coordinate with the Organic Lead to organise actions & delegate new business pitch hours across the SEO team
  • Identification and action to create operational efficiencies within the SEO department
  • Make sure clients are happy by ensuring all client deliverables are met on time and creating workflows to allow that to happen
  • Address clients needs & concerns as quickly & effectively as possible to develop and maintain strong relationships
  • Work with the organic lead to knowledge share content and implementation of projects to grow SEO knowledge across the agency
