To assist in providing a person centred home organising and decluttering service for individual clients.


Habitat Joy have individual clients, work alongside family networks and professional organisations to give short term and long term support to people who are overwhelmed at home.

We help clients that things have got on top them due to illness and just need one off support to helping clients that suffer with hoarding disorder and a slower person centred approach is needed.

You must always ensure that clients are treated in a dignified, caring and respectful manner.


Emotional intelligence and ability to understand and manage your own emotions is required, for those of the people around you and how these emotions can affect other people.

We work with very vulnerable people that for years could be living in isolation from society, a hoarded home without basics, squalor with evidence of vermin and faeces both animal and human.

Maintain job sheets accurately dated and completed in full detail.

Always contribute and work in partnership with colleagues. We are here to help each other.

A driving license is required and you will be required to attend meetings when required.

Job Types:
Zero hours contract, Freelance

Salary:
From £10.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekend availability
