About:
Our client is one of a handful of specialist services in the UK who provide therapeutic care and education for boys and young people aged 11-18 who have displayed harmful sexual behaviour. This is always underpinned by a wide range of adverse childhood experiences, trauma and resulting difficulties with attachment and relationships. Their aim is to reduce and prevent the cycle of abuse by helping young people to both recover from their own underpinning trauma, but also to acknowledge and address their own sexual behaviours. Their specialist settings manage and reduce risk through appropriate supervision and the building of pro-social skills and protective factors.
