Senior Nursery Practitioner/Room Leader at our Oakwood setting, working in the Baby Room.
32/40 hours per week, Monday - Friday all year round.
This role is located in
Oakwood (Morley Road, Oakwood, Derby, DE21 4QZ).

Essential Skills for this position are as follows:
- Minimum Level 3 (or equivalent) in Early Years Education.
- Minimum of 2 Years Qualified Experience in a childcare setting
- Excellent understanding of the EYFS and how to use it effectively.
- Good knowledge of core policies & procedures in Early Years (safeguarding, Inclusion and Equality of opportunities policy, promoting positive behaviour)
- High levels of energy & passion.
- Good patience and ability to engage children of all abilities.
- Excellent spoken and written English.
- Warm & friendly personality.
- Proactive, 'can do' attitude.
- Innovative & inspirational approach to learning indoors and a passion for outdoor play.
- First aid qualified
- Additional training (e.g. safeguarding, food hygiene.)
- Experience in a leadership role
