Insurance Claims Advisor

on a

Fixed Term Contract for 12 months

at our Cullompton site.

The position of Insurance Claims Advisor involves:
Liaise with operations to provide data requested by external claims handler as required on claims.

Liaise with the fleet team regarding the cost of own damage claims and update claims handlers as appropriate, particularly for non-fault claims where costs should be recovered.

Liaise with Insurance broker on historic policies and claims.
Liaise with operations to ensure accident investigation is completed and relevant footage is uploaded.

Support the relationship with the Groups insurance broker, insurance providers and claims management service provider, attending regular review meetings as required.

Work in partnership with service providers to identify initiatives to drive continuous improvements in claims costs.

Ensure best practice processes are in operation to effectively handle all insurance claims, providing the business with timely management information and KPIs and identifying and implementing continuous improvements to reduce costs.

Support inputs into the freight liability and property spreadsheets.
Ensure the Motor Insurance Database (MID) is accurate and up to date at all times.
Support the business in relation to all other insurance policies as appropriate.
Essential skills required for

Insurance Claims Advisor
Previous experience in claims handling, preferably in motor personal injury claims
Proficiency in IT, including Microsoft Office and the ability to adapt to various bespoke systems.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
Excellent attention to detail.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.

between £26,000pa to £30,000pa depending on experience. Fixed Term contract for 12 months, with the possibility of it being extended.
Hours of work are Monday

Friday 08:30hrs

17:00hrs.
