Shift Pattern:

Week 1:
Monday - Thursday: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, Friday: 7:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Week 2:
Monday - Thursday: 3:30 PM - Midnight, Friday: 12:00 PM - 5:00 PM

Overtime rates:

Weekdays and Saturdays:
Time and a half

Sundays and Bank Holidays:
Double time or Dyas back in lieu


The ideal candidate will be apprentice trained in manual lathe machining, with experience operating machines such as Herbert, Centre Lathe, and Dean Smith & Grace Lathe.

Some CNC machining will also be required, and training will be provided for CNC operations.

Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of lathe machines to ensure optimal performance.
Utilise CNC machines for specific tasks as required; training will be provided.
Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality and technical specifications.
Collaborate with the production team to meet project deadlines and production goals.
Apprentice trained in manual lathe machining.
Basic understanding of CNC machining; willingness to undergo training.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
Flexibility to work alternating shifts as specified.
