Actuarial Analyst, Reinsurance Pricing Models

This is an opportunity to join the Reinsurance Pricing Models & Analytics team as an Actuarial Analyst.
The team works across all reinsurance LOBs to leverage the latest technology and actuarial methodologies to build and maintain pricing models.
DISCOVER your opportunityWhat will your essential responsibilities include?
- Contribute to the development of the reinsurance pricing platform.
- Develop core-components that can be reused in various pricing tools. Develop various pricing algorithms to enable pricing sophistication. Share best practices with pricing actuaries who will use the platform for their own development.
- (Re-)design and (re-)build new pricing tools used by underwriters with scalable languages (primarily Python) in connection with pricing actuaries.
- Optimize the structure of pricing tools to facilitate their maintenance and their update, ensure their maintenance. Ensure appropriate technical documentation.
- Contribute to design a consistent strategy of data capture, facilitate the usage of these data for other purposes (portfolio studies, etc.).
- Leverage capabilities and infrastructure developed by IT. Contribute to a clear communication with Ops & Tech, Pricing.

We're looking for someone who has these abilities and skills:
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Bachelor's degree in mathematics or similar field. Passing exams to obtain FIA/FCAS or equivalent qualification is a plus.
- Ability to work in a team. Great communication skills and the ability to interface with teams having varying backgrounds/skillsets (IT, Actuarial, UW, Ops).
- Committed, self-organized, with excellent attention to detail.
Desired Skills and Abilities:
- Proven experience of (re)insurance pricing and with core actuarial concepts. Experience with commercial lines reinsurance is a plus.
- Good technical aptitude and experience programming in Python/R, SQL, and Excel/VBA.
