As the Head of Tenancy Sustainability at PA Housing, your role will be crucial in managing the safeguarding of PA residents and improving the resident experience by nurturing robust community connections to empower residents to maintain their homes effectively.

We embrace the future of work with our hybrid working model, offering you the flexibility to thrive in your role. You'll have the opportunity to blend the best of both worlds, spending approximately 2-3 days per week in the officewiththe remainder being from the comfort of your own home. However bear in mind during your probation and training, we may request more office presence to ensure you feel fully supported and equipped for success. Your well-being and confidence in your role are paramount to us, and we're committed to providing the flexibility you need to excel. Of course if you'd prefer to be in the office more, then that is completely fine with us too

Your responsibilities...

  • Customer Focus:
    • Take charge of supervising a dynamic, streamlined, and resident-centered tenancy sustainment service, encompassing a broad spectrum of support areas such as welfare benefits, debt management, domestic abuse intervention, vulnerability and safeguarding measures, support for vulnerable residents, and mental health assistance.
    • Lead the tenancy sustainment service, ensuring the delivery of reliable, repeatable, and consistent services that residents value and are satisfied with.
    • Nurture effective strategic partnerships both internally and externally to ensure that residents and PA achieve the best possible outcomes.
  • Operational Delivery:
    • Assume responsibility for the results achieved within the Tenancy Sustainment function. Guarantee streamlined service delivery, responsiveness, and exceptional customer satisfaction levels.
    • Champion outstanding performance in key performance indicators (KPIs) for Tenancy Sustainment, relentlessly pursuing continuous enhancement in alignment with strategic and operational goals.
  • Strategic Thinking:
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to harmonise strategic approaches.
    • Prioritise our Residents Strategy as a cornerstone of organisational objectives.
    • Demonstrate proficiency in distilling intricate information swiftly and effectively, transforming it into actionable insights and sound decisions that benefit both residents and the organisation.
  • Stakeholder Relationships:
    • Foster robust relationships with residents, community groups, local authorities, and a wide array of stakeholders.
    • Act as a prominent representative of PA Housing in forums and meetings.
    • Serve as a champion of the customer perspective, leveraging extensive experience in collaborative policy and procedure development, alongside service officer co-creation with residents and diverse stakeholders.
  • Team Leadership:
    • Be an accessible and hands-on frontline leader, motivating the team to deliver exceptional services across all domains.
    • Exhibit unwavering confidence and resolve in challenging norms and upholding ethical principles.
    • Oversee teams handling multiple intricate situations simultaneously with adept management skills.
  • Performance Management:
    • Delve into the data to grasp key performance indicators thoroughly.
    • Use insights to fine-tune outcomes.
    • Address performance or behavioural shortcomings among team members and colleagues in line with business expectations.
  • Innovative Thinking:
    • Break the mould Encourage unconventional thinking Inspire inventive solutions and question traditional housing practices.
    • Explore fresh approaches to boost neighbourhood engagement and customer satisfaction.
    • Seek solutions to problems and remove barriers.
  • Customer Involvement:
    • Residents matter. Promote their participation in all levels of the decision-making processes.
