Causeway Green is a large friendly 2 form entry school and we have a committed, caring and enthusiastic team of staff.
We wish to appoint an individual who will work as part of a team as well as on own initiative, to maintain a good standard of cleanliness and hygiene around the school. This role is a demanding role, with hoovering, bending, and moping in all areas of the school. Including some manual handling. Training will be given in some parts of the role but at least 6 months experience in a cleaning role would be beneficial. You will be engaging with staff of all levels on a daily basis, whilst doing this role especially cleaning classrooms.

Our school is committed to safeguarding the promotion of the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share our commitment. A full DBS with enhanced checks and two satisfactory references is required for this role, one reference will be requested in our shortlisting procedure prior to interview. Pre-employment checks will be carried out in line with KCSIE.
This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and is eligible for an enhanced DBS check including a Children's Barring List Check. If you are barred from working with children, you are breaking the law if you apply for this post. This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act and therefore the ability to speak fluent and spoken English is an essential requirement for this role.
