Career Teachers are seeking an experienced and qualified SEND primary teacher for an ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder) unit within a Primary School in Southwark, South London. This is a full-time role, beginning in September 2024. Please note that we reuquire QTS (Qualified Teaching Status) for this role, as well as proven experience working with SEND children.

e are seeking passionate Primary Teachers with expertise in teaching methods, effective communication, and inspiring students of all abilities. Dedicated to creating ideal learning conditions, safeguarding children, and skilled in primary office software. Positive, outgoing, and compassionate traits are essential.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Undergraduate Education Degree or equivalent with QTS.
  • Previous in-school teaching experience.
  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
  • Right to work in the UK.

Your Role:

  • Plan curriculum-aligned lessons.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching.
  • Create a safe and motivating classroom environment.
  • Monitor student progress and provide feedback.
  • Implement behaviour expectations.
  • Communicate with parents and leaders.
