What will you be doing as a Retail Supervisor?


You will work closely with the Assistant Manager as the Supervisor and will be responsible for maximizing the store's profitability and commercial presence in the retail market.

You will have a strong strategic slant, being instrumental in monitoring and delivering the store's performance against plan.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage retail staff on the shop floor
  • Meet financial goals by analyzing variances in department and category performance
  • Ensure pricing is correct
  • Work on store displays and layout
  • Manage inventory levels/costs through the effective use of the reporting tools available through the Epos system
  • Drive sales through various commercial initiatives

Experience:

  • Previous experience as a supervisor in a multichannel retail environment.
  • Knowledge of bicycle disciplines, associated brands, and different requirements from associated cyclists.
  • Proven ability to drive sales and customer satisfaction levels
  • Proven experience of managing a medium sized diverse team in a sport, leisure or cycle retail environment

  • Enjoyment and keen interest in the sport of cycling
