Begbies Traynor is the market leader in business rescue and recovery supporting financially distressed businesses with turnaround, restructuring and closure options.


We have exciting opportunities available to work in our Preston office within our Corporate Restructuring and Recovery Team with support being provided to achieve a professional accountancy qualification.


What will you do?:

Over 5 or 6 years you will study towards becoming a qualified accountant and during this time you will

  • Gain practical experience and valuable skills whilst bringing your studies to life
  • Be part of a team supporting the daytoday operations and functions and get involved in interesting cases
  • Use your insights and skills to analyse financial information, prepare statutory reports and documents
  • Communicate with key stakeholders, such as Accountants and Solicitors on formal insolvency matters
  • Gain knowledge and experience of dealing with limited companies in financial distress from a wide range of industries and sectors
  • Be predominantly based in our Manchester office with a supportive team around you, occasionally working out on site and other offices

What we are looking for:

  • 3 Alevels or equivalent at A* to C (obtained or predicted)
  • 9 to 4 in Maths and English at GCSE or equivalent
