Essential requirements:

  • Minimum two years' experience writing for a printed or digital magazine / publication or news channel.
  • Strong reporting, writing, editing and interpersonal skills.
  • Well organised / ability to manage edit lists and copy.
  • Capable of writing news articles accurately in a fast turnaround environment.
  • Ability to nurture longterm relationships with key clients and industry experts.
  • Great attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Able to travel internationally.

Desirable skills:

  • NCTJ qualified.
  • Shorthand.
  • Track record in liaising with clientled content and overseeing clientled content
  • Experience of using a content management system and posting content on social media.
  • Page layout skills, ideally using InDesign.
