A Day in the Life

As an Amazon Supply Chain Manager, you'll tackle challenges daily, working with teams to address issues impacting the network. Your role involves both proactive and reactive tasks, contributing to forecasting and planning new projects. Variety is a constant, from defining supply chain models to assisting with resource planning for sites.

About the Team

Amazon Extra Large (AMXL) specializes in heavy items and provides exceptional customer care by delivering, unpacking, assembling, and installing large goods. The focus on safety, productivity, and innovation sets this service apart, revolutionizing large goods purchase and delivery.

The EU AMXL Network Planning team focuses on devising strategies for the AMXL Supply Chain and Transportation organization, contributing to the realization of the AMXL vision. There are plans to enhance capabilities and broaden the scope, making strategic decisions to support Amazon's growth.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in supply chain management
  • Proficiency in using data and metrics to drive improvements
  • Experience in program strategy ownership and communication to senior leadership
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, macros, VLOOKUP, etc.
  • Strong problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Master's degree or MBA in relevant fields
  • Experience leading process enhancements
  • Intermediate level knowledge of SQL
  • Effective communication and influencing skills with diverse stakeholders
