We have an exciting new opportunity to join the team at Paragon Rotherham as a permanent Warehouse Team Leader.

We have recently moved to a newly refurbished based at Greenland Road, S9.

This purpose fit warehouse is significantly increasing our warehousing capacity and as such we are looking for numerous people to join our team on a permanent basis.

We work Monday to Friday and the hours that we have available are:

  • 07:
  • 08:30 5:00
  • 11:00 19:30


As a Warehouse Team Manager, you will be responsible for running a highly efficient and agile warehouse department by supporting and leading a warehouse team to ensure the requirements of the customer are delivered and the goals and objectives of the business are met.

To work alongside the Fulfilment and Production Planning departments to ensure distributions are fulfilled to SLA.

What will your role as Warehouse Team Manager involve?
As a Warehouse Team Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Management, organisation, and supervision of picking requirements in line with customer SLA's.
  • Organise the replenishment of stocks to maintain stock levels held in the pick face and accurately update the system.
  • Manage and monitor the prestart checks on all operational equipment and report any damage/defects to the Warehouse Manager.
  • Maintain an accurate up to date stock inventory system.
  • Appropriately cascade and communicate KPI and organisation information through department meetings, oneonone meetings, and regular interpersonal communication.
  • Communicate performance vs plan regularly and the role of escalating any issues that may mean the plan isn't reached that day.
  • Take overall responsibility for all aspects of the effective supervision, training, and welfare of your team.
  • Ensure compliance with rules, procedures, systems, etc. Whilst striving to continuously improve processes and relationships and instilling this mindset into your team.
  • Ensure that the quality of service within the team is maintained at the highest possible standards. Carry out spot checks and work closely with other managers to identify recurring problems and agree, initiate and monitor relevant corrective action.
  • Manage the training and development of your team ensuring the skills matrix, online learning and additional training needs are maintained. Ensuring all staff are trained on the relevant tasks and equipment.
  • To be aware of and always observe safeworking practices, ensuring others within the designated areas do likewise and to report any breaches immediately.
  • Ensure all accidents and near misses are recorded and reported as per company guidelines.

What do you need to be successful in this role?
To be successful as a Warehouse Team Manager, you will need to be able to demonstrate you are:

  • Experienced working with, managing and leading a team.
  • Familiar working within a warehouse environment.
  • A selfstarter using your initiative to reach goals and solve problems.
  • Thorough and analytical in all your work with great attention to detail.
  • Excellent in time management and organisation


You may have experience in the following role: Warehouse Supervisor, Warehouse Team Leader, Warehouse Operative, Distribution Team Leader, Distribution Supervisor, Logistics Supervisor.

Production Supervisor.
