The purpose of this role is to assist the Trust in the discharge of its duties under the Control of Asbestos Regulations (CAR The main duty holder responsibilities outlined within the Trust Asbestos Management Plan are predominantly delivered by key role holders within the Estates Directorate. The Trust recognises that asbestos is present in areas of the properties under its control.

The Trusts expectation is that staff and non-licensed contractors will not be exposed to, or work with, asbestos within its premises, all work with ACMs is conducted by licensed asbestos removal contractors and the successful applicant will be expected to play a pivotal role in ensuring Trust Asbestos management procedures are adequate, compliant, communicated and adhered to by staff, visitors and contractors.
