Lansdowne Infants is part of The de Ferrers Trust. We are a Multi Academy Trust currently based in Staffordshire and Derbyshire. The Trust consists of three Secondary Academies and fourPrimary Academies.

Are you an energetic, creative individual who can relate positively to young people? This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside teaching staff to support the children with their emotional and learning needs

As a Teaching Assistant Apprentice, you will nurture, inspire, challenge, and motivate pupils, whilst implementing clear boundaries and routines.

You'll engage with pupils across a range of abilities and help raise aspirations and attainment in students and encourage progression.


You will possess good numeracy and literacy skills equivalent to GCSE grade C in Maths and English, effective communication skills.

The position will be 37 hours per week, 39 weeks per year. This Apprenticeship is offered on a fixed term basis for the duration of the apprenticeship.

An ideal position if you are considering a career in teaching.

It will give you an opportunity to see different teaching and learning styles as well as experience and appreciate wider school life.

You will have the ability to attend the de Ferrers Trust 'Teacher training seminars'.
