Our client is an independently owned, well-established, innovative print and packaging company with an exciting range of new sustainable materials to offer to clients.
They have a current requirement for an external Business Development Manager to be responsible for managing and expanding the company's client portfolio, with a focus on labels, including digital and high-performance labels suitable for challenging environments plus other products that you have experience of.
The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of labels, particularly digital and high performance labels.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue opportunities and to sell to new clients.
- Understanding print and label brokering.
- Service existing clients circa £400,000 and maintain strong relationships with all clients as well as growing existing work.
- Provide expert advice on label solutions tailored to client needs.
- Collaborate with the Sales Director to develop sales strategies and meet targets.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience in sales, preferably within the printing or packaging industry.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Self-motivated with a drive to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- You must hold a valid driver's license.
