Role:
We have an exciting opportunity for a Head of Finance to join our high-performing finance team at Wagamama. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving future business growth and will be responsible for managing a team of 4 individuals, including 2 Commercial Finance Managers and 2 Finance Analysts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and inspire the finance business partnering team, setting team strategy and priorities
  • Act as the financial expert for the region, delivering accurate management information
  • Produce weekly UK trading reporting and monthly executive reporting
  • Present trading analysis to the ops leadership team
  • Drive commercial upskilling across the business
  • Deliver UK restaurant analysis and reporting
  • Collaborate with property and operations on investment appraisals
  • Contribute to the financial planning process
  • Work cross-functionally to deliver strategic objectives
  • Collaborate with the group FP&A team on trading performance insight

Experience & Personal Attributes:
  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA)
  • Experience in leading teams and managing stakeholders
  • Proactive, strategic thinker with excellent influencing skills
  • Ability to make complex information easy to understand
  • Strong technical, analytical, and presentation skills
  • Excellent Excel/modelling skills
  • Good adaptability and communication skills
