An exciting opportunity for a Learning Support Assistant has arisen. We are looking to appoint a learning support assistant to work within our large team of enthusiastic and nurturing support staff at the school to support the

Special Educational Needs of children.


The position available is to work supporting individual children with SEN needs in either Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2.


The successful applicant will prioritise building strong relationships with children and adults and will have an enthusiasm and love of learning to share with the children.

Working under the direction of the class teacher, the successful applicant will:

  • Support the whole child (emotional well-being as well as academic) through our broad and balanced curriculum.
  • Be flexible and adaptable in meeting the needs and interests of our children.
  • Have high expectations and determination to help children achieve their very best.

For this role, you will need to have good literacy and numeracy skills, as well as be passionate to motivate children to do their best.

A willingness to work as part of a team, as well as taking your own initiative when required, is essential.

Experience of working within a school in a similar role would be extremely beneficial.
