Trainee Estimator

Are you looking for a great opportunity within the Construction Sector which allows you to grow and develop? Our client based in Ringwood are looking for a Trainee Estimator to join their fast growing company.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist with estimating of new projects, and eventually estimating projects unsupervised.
- Assisting in the development and understanding of technical practices and stages of a project.
- Participate in strategic planning.
- Provide administrative support (e.g. documentation, data entry, etc.).
Skills and Attributes:
- Excellent communication skills
- Can do attitude
- Must be computer literate with a working knowledge of word and excel. The position also demands a high level of mathematical / numerical competency and communication skills.
- Approach to problem solving
- Keen to progress within a successful business
Training and Development:
- Use of company vehicle (or reimbursement for use of your own vehicle), for business related travel
- Reading drawings
- Designing projects
- Pricing projects
- Estimating
- CAD Design
- Health & Safety
This is a demanding but rewarding role, with varied working hours however the core office hours will be Mon-Fri 8am-5pm.
Full Driving License required.
