Apprentice - WOODMACHINIST


Clive Durose Ltd, an expanding local company with a reputation for high quality products, is seeking a school leaver who wishes to learn a trade within the timber industry.

The successful applicant will be literate, numerate, enjoy working with their hands and have a good level of education.

Training will include day release at Stoke-on-Trent College where they will carry out NVQ L1 & 2 qualification courses in Wood Machining.

They will also receive in-house training, learning both operation and setting up of complex machines.


This role is ideally suited to someone with a desire to pursue a career in a practical, hands-on environment, where they will be able to demonstrate appropriate care, close attention to detail and have a natural flair for working with their hands.

The starting salary will be £4.81 per hour for 40 hours per week.


Hours of work are 08:00 to 16:45 Monday to Friday with 15 minute morning break and 30 minute lunch break.

One day is at College.
