The Role:
As a Product Verification and Test Engineer you will be a member of the Engineering team focusing on test verification and automation of both current and next generation Positioning test solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Setup and perform complex test procedures in both current and next generation Positioning solutions.
  • Generate and update technical documentation.
  • Work with Automation team to analyse, recommend, manage and implement automation improvements.
  • Must be able to troubleshoot technical issues and find solutions to complex problems.
  • Be able to work in a structured and methodical manner.
  • Skilled level of MS Office applications.

Education:

  • BA, BEng or HND in appropriate Engineering discipline.

Job Requirements:

  • Experience in a Product Verification and Test environment.
  • Experience in programming/design/scripting languages including Labview, Matlab, Python, and with Unix and Windows operating systems.
  • Experience in using lab test equipment, spectrum analysers, oscilloscopes and RF power meters etc.
  • Knowledge of phase modulation (BPSK, QPSK, etc.), spread spectrum, signal detection, signal and interference analysis, baseband filtering, data formatting, etc.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication, problem solving, presentation and analytical skills.
  • Team player with a highly collaborative and positive attitude.
  • Eager to learn new technologies, self-motivated, energetic approach.
  • Knowledge of digital communications, RF system analysis, FEC coding, and communications engineering.
  • Demonstrable technical understanding of GNSS and related technology.
  • Automation using engineering test equipment.
  • Pytest Experience.
