Whether ensuring all of our customer orders are dispatched on time, processing the thousands of products we receive every day or making sure our stock is accurate our warehouse team do it with a smile The driver is a central member of this, ensuring our stores stock stays replenished accurately and in good time.


The Role

  • Transfer stock between our Distribution Centre and various retail stores
  • Making deliveries to sites and customers
  • Safe loading of delivery vehicles
  • Performing vehicle checks
  • Ensuring the accuracy, and quality of stock delivered and collected from stores
  • Accurately completing delivery paperwork
  • Adopting a proactive approach to Health and Safety
  • Assisting the Warehouse team with other warehousing duties when not driving
  • Be driven with a desire to progress and achieve
  • Take pride in their work, ensuring the highest levels of accuracy and efficiency
  • Be a good communicator; highlighting issues and working well within the warehouse team
  • Have experience with driving delivery vehicles (3.5t)

Hours

Full Time
Working 5 days in 7, 40 hours per week. This role does involve weekend working, however can be flexible on working days and with a changeable shift pattern.

Salary
£11.90 per hour (£24 752pa), with generous overtime rates
