Our client is a developer of unique patented catalysts that are used to produce polymeric materials across a variety of sectors such as automative, paints and coatings, furniture and mattresses and more.

Within this position your responsibilities will include:

  • Building relationships with key decision makers within target industries
  • Developing and executing strategic sales strategies alongside the commercial leader and technical specialists
  • Supporting customers by providing excellent customer service and responding quickly to queries
  • Travelling to customer sites, exhibitions and networking events across the UK and internationally

Upon joining the company, the successful candidate will train within the laboratory to fully understand system operation. The lab expertise gained will then allow a detailed explanation to clients of the technical benefits.

This appointment is unique and the successful individual will be someone who understands the integration of this technology and how it will have a real-world beneficial impact.

We are seeking commercially minded scientists and salespeople with a background in chemical manufacturing or scientific sales.

Customers are based worldwide so international travel is necessary.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Excellent communication skills and presenting skills
  • A relevant scientific degree - BSc min
  • UK Drivers License
  • Ability to travel internationally
