Overview:
This role is specifically to cover the Reception Desk and serve in The Library

Tuesdays and Thursdays 5:30-11pm

Duties:

  • Meet guests upon arrival and assist with check in/check outs on departures.
  • Follow all procedures to close up the hotel at the end of the shift.
  • Manage reservations and walkin guests efficiently in The Library
  • Provide menus and relay any specials or promotions to guests
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the public areas of the hotel
  • Answer phone calls and handle guest inquiries with professionalism
  • Assist in coordinating with housekeeping/maintenance/kitchen to ensure smooth shifts.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a hospitality role (Reception/Restaurant) is advantageous
  • Excellent communication skills with a friendly and welcoming demeanour
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fastpaced environment
  • Strong phone etiquette and customer service skills
  • A passion for helping guests and ensuring their satisfaction
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays
