As the Office Administrator for the Sales Team you are responsible for performing a complex and diverse set of secretarial and admin duties: sales/account managing and customer service roles.

Must be an excellent multi-tasker, proactive and be able to think on your feet.

You will have a lot of customer contact so a high degree of customer service ability will be required, along with a can do approach.

You must be able to make decisions and be able to think on your feet, be a very good communicator and have a good understanding of the products we supply (training given).


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide high quality all round administrative support to the Sales Team
  • Assisting the Head of Sales in developing, maintaining and monitoring their client base in a proactive and professional manner
  • Composing routine/nonroutine correspondence
  • Compiling and keeping accurate records of sales figures
  • Covering for absences and part time staff in the sales office, raising purchase orders and chasing supplier deliveries
  • Competent in using word processor/spreadsheet software
  • Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Maintain records and files both hard copy and electronic
  • To assist in the coordination/liaison with all relevant internal departments and external suppliers/carriers to ensure the sale and delivery of the correct labels to the correct customer within the agreed timescale
  • Coordinate and liaise with Freight Forwarders for all the Company's UK deliveries
  • Prepare weekly/monthly sales figures for the Sales Team
  • Check end of month invoicing figures for the Sales Team against spreadsheets to ensure all sales have been invoiced correctly
  • Update Act (data base) when orders are placed
  • To be flexible and willing to perform any additional tasks that may be required of you by your direct manager
