We are looking for a Law Firm Partner to Lead Commercial/Tech Practice

If you are someone who is passionate about leading a growing commercial contracts team in a prominent City law firm, then this opportunity could be perfect for you. The firm is focused on expanding its commercial contracts/technology division and is looking for a seasoned lawyer who is eager to further develop this area of practice.

With established practices in various areas like corporate, IP, regulatory, and data protection litigation, the firm is now in search of a senior lawyer who thrives on handling a variety of commercial contracts for diverse clients, particularly in the technology and sports/entertainment sectors. You will play a key role in solidifying and expanding this practice as the firm continues its impressive growth trajectory.

Working alongside a fantastic marketing/BD team and an existing small team, you will:

  • Be an experienced senior lawyer, whether in-house or from private practice, ready to take on a partnership role;
  • Possess exceptional commercial contracts expertise, with proficient drafting abilities and a knack for analyzing various commercial agreements;
  • Excel in building relationships with clients and team members alike;
  • Have significant experience in the technology sector, ideally capable of advising on common tech agreements and possessing GDPR knowledge;
  • Be capable of maintaining and leading existing client relationships.

While having a client following is beneficial, it's not mandatory. However, you must showcase your skills in relationship development and business growth to enhance the practice and elevate the team's reputation.
