Eames consulting is working with a leading British Bank to support their Markets Customer Monitoring team.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Designing test cases / scenarios aligned to business requirements, that ensure that changes made to the system have the intended effect and are of the appropriate quality expected by stakeholders.
  • Undertaking "preUAT" testing by executing test cases / scenarios according to release notes or details within 'tickets' that explain the change that has been delivered.
  • Maintaining detailed logs / trackers of test cases / scenarios, defects, enhancements, etc.
  • Control text execution by monitoring the team's adherence to the test strategy, approach and test scripts.
  • Contributing to defining the system testing procedures and ensuring that the most effective tools and techniques are employed, within the confines of the tooling available.
  • Drive improvements in testing processes, including efficiency opportunities, and automation where possible.
  • Ensure that any risks and issues are addressed in an appropriate manner, with a record maintained in the Programme's RAID log. Ensure that any Risks/Issues that may impact Programme timelines are brought to the attention of the Programme Manager.
  • Define requirements for test environment and engage appropriate parties to ensure al necessary components are in place for successful test execution.

Essential Skills:

  • Have a good knowledge of the project and test lifecycle.
  • Strong analytical skills and an ability to find logical solutions to problems and manage to resolution.
  • Substantial experience of functional testing and test management.
  • Capability to communicate effectively with contractors or remote staff.
  • Effectively coordinate delivery of services involving elements delivered by others.
  • Manages to balance structure & best practice versus pragmatism.
  • Strong commercial awareness.
