Sample Technician/Driver

Due to recent project wins, there is an exciting opportunity available for a Sampler Technician to provide support to the operation in West Thurrock. The role involves collecting and delivering samples to and from the Caleb Brett offices in the southeast on a daily basis.

About You:

Key Requirements:

• Proficiency in IT
• Hold a valid UK driving license
• Ability to learn sampling techniques and laboratory operations/standards for petroleum products
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Self-motivated
• Encourages teamwork to support colleagues and customers
• Enthusiastic about learning and growth
• Effective communicator

The Sampler Driver will be responsible for collecting and delivering samples to and from Caleb Brett offices, as well as sampling petroleum and chemical products at various processing stages.

Responsibilities:

• Conducting sampling using approved techniques
• Testing required samples
• Transporting samples to and from client facilities
• Completing vehicle condition sheets and sample collection logs
• Maintaining sample retention stores
• Working Monday to Friday, 06:00 - 18:00, occasionally requiring overtime
