We are looking for a Street Works Inspector to join our client on a temporary contract until October 2024.

In this role, you will lead tasks and manage small projects using appropriate techniques to ensure that agreed actions and service delivery targets are achieved. Your main duty will be to assist in the delivery of Bristol's Street Works Permit Scheme as required by the team manager.

• Lead assigned projects and service development under the guidance of the team manager.
• Develop expertise in the team's work programme to provide authoritative advice to project teams.
• Design and implement technical solutions for highway infrastructure maintenance and enhancement.
• Contribute to service improvements and quality assurance for allocated functions.
• Respond to operational needs with innovative working solutions.

• Street Works Supervisor qualification (NRSWA).
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions on the transport network.
• Availability to work outside standard hours.
• Full UK driver's license.
