    About this Role:

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • To supervise children and ensure their safety during the lunchtime period, both inside and outside.
  • To be familiar with our Health and Safety Policy and to be vigilant in the control of any risks.
  • To be aware of pupils with dietary requirements and report any concerns to the Senior LTSA, catering staff or office.
  • To ensure the children are encouraged to try food, use cutlery and observe table manners in the dining hall.
  • To ensure that all incidents are reported to the school office and class staff when handing over after lunch.
  • To be vigilant when outside and ensure that our children are behaving and playing safely.
  • To be responsible for setting out the lunchtime play equipment and organising games with the children.
  • To supervise children at the end of the lunchtime period and ensure they go to class in a quiet and orderly manner.
  • You will be expected to undertake Safeguarding and First Aid Training as part of your role and any other relevant training required.
  • To be familiar with the School Safeguarding Policy and Keeping Children Safe in Education 2023
  • To work within the professional expectations highlighted in the Trust Staff Code of Conduct - including the utmost confidentiality which is essential for school staff.
