TE Connectivity's Shipping & Receiving Teams perform a combination of manual and clerical shipping and receiving duties. They use computer systems for tracking, logging, verifying and reporting incoming and outgoing shipments. They follow shipping practices and procedures, transportation routing, schedules and requirements. The Shipping & Receiving Teams receive incoming materials and prepare materials for shipment. They process freight bills, packing sheets, and other documents. They also route merchandise to destinations.

Job Scope

_Standard hours (Mon-Thu 8-17, Fri 8-13)_

  • Key Performance Indicator keeping daily records of production orders and purchase orders
  • Keeping stock accuracy at a minimum level of 98%
  • EH&S awareness: 2 Don't Walk By form/ each month
  • Monthly 1:1 Meetings
General Housekeeping: 5S+1 Activities

  • To respond to urgent customer service requests in a cooperative and flexible manner liaising with any line manager if necessary.
  • Adhering to working practices and procedures.
  • To accurately maintain all necessary departmental documentation in line with procedures.
  • To maintain the integrity of the MRP system in order to avoid unnecessary delays in customer service
  • To maintain the security of the Warehouse and stock.
  • To block, unblock and move parts when required in a timely manner and communicate with the relevant departments when necessary.
  • To store and supply parts in suitable packaging as per specifications/BOMs to prevent damage to parts.
  • To ensure all receipts to stores are correctly located including bin to bin SAP transactions with License tag.
  • To kit delivery orders, production orders and any other material requisitions in accordance with the kiting procedure and all computer transactions to ensure count accuracy and full batch traceability.
  • To control the transfer process from plant 1070 to plant 1069 moving material between sites when required.
