IN2 Consult are currently supporting an up and coming leader within one of the fastest growing markets globally.

This client is currently on the look out for a Interim Financial Accounting Manager to join their finance team on a contract for between 3 to6 months.

This role will be looking for an ACA/ ACCA or CIMA qualified finance professional with experience in both financial and management accounts reporting.


This position is paying between £400 to £500 day rate, and will require you to travel to the office 2 days a week in Kings Langley.


The key duties involved in thisinterim Financial Accounting Manager role is as follows:

  • Supervising the team's preparation of monthly management accounts and assisting with issues or problems that arise
  • Delivering periodic cashflow forecasts and distribution calculations with clear bridge analysis
  • Coordinating the annual budgeting process and ensuring fully board approvals
  • Quarterly board reports and presentation of finance sections at board meetings
  • Overseeing the preparation of the statutory accounts and ensuring consistency, quality and compliance with applicable accounting standard (FRS101, FRS102, IFRS) and Companies Acts for all asset managed entities
  • Preparation of consolidated annual accounts with applicable accounting standard featuring multiple operational entities and externally financed holding companies which include complex accounting treatments
  • Ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements, specifically with regards to OFGEM
  • Coordinating the financial audits, which includes liaising directly with the owners of asset managed assets, tax advisors and audit partners to ensure all parties are fully apprised of latest developments and actively engaged in resolving issues that needtheir input
  • Preparing hedge accounting documents and ongoing annual assessment of hedge relationships including consultation with necessary third parties to provide inputs into the valuations and accounting entries
  • Managing bank compliance model preparation and loan covenant calculations, interest and principal repayments and any other banking requirements
  • Reviewing VAT returns for all asset managed entities before submission
  • Ensuring strong internal control environment is observed and that transactions are authorised with delegated limits of authority. This includes developing systems and documenting the internal control framework, accounting policies and procedures for allasset managed entities
  • Ad Hoc project work e.g. contract review for financial obligations, assisting with business development opportunities, business partnering with Asset Managers, resolving disputes, system migration

Key experience required Financial Accounting Manager role:

  • ACA/ ACCA/ CIMA qualified
  • Experience in producing statutory year end accounts
  • Group consildation experience
  • Experience in producing month end management accounts, variance analysis and providing commentary on budget vs forecast
  • Immediate availability up to a 2 week notice period.
  • Team management experience required
