Your Role:

Step into a role where your influence will be pivotal in creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment for children with autism.

As a Children's Support Worker, your dynamic responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating in the planning and execution of lessons tailored to the needs of children with autism.
  • Providing personalised oneonone or small group support to students with a focus on autism.
  • Cultivating a positive and inclusive atmosphere within the classroom, tailored to the unique requirements of children with autism.
  • Assisting with classroom management and behaviour support specific to children with autism.
  • Crafting materials and resources designed to support the learning experience of children with autism.
  • Engaging in extracurricular activities and school events with a focus on inclusivity for children with autism.

Your Working Hours:

Monday to Friday

Start time: 8:30 AM

Finish time: 3:30 PM

Your Qualifications and Requirements:

To thrive in this role, you should possess:

  • Relevant experience working with children, specifically those with autism, in educational, childcare, support worker, health care assistant, or hospital settings within the last two years.
  • A deep passion for education and an unwavering commitment to making a positive impact in the lives of children with autism.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills tailored to the needs of children with autism.
  • The ability to collaborate seamlessly with teachers, staff, and students, especially in the context of supporting children with autism.
  • Flexibility to adapt to the unique and evolving needs of the school and children with autism.
  • A dedication to fostering a secure and inclusive learning environment specifically tailored to children with autism.
