My client, a well known Law Firm are recruiting an experienced In-House Recruiter on a fixed term basis. This is a maternity cover contract so require someone ASAP for the hand over period.
Key Responsibilities
- Working with partners and heads of department to understand ongoing hiring needs
- Reviewing and updating job descriptions
- Managing our social media presence in relation to recruitment
- Support with the onboarding processes for colleagues joining the firm
- Approve/amend draft offers and terms and conditions of employment before submission to partners
- Completing reference checks on potential new colleagues
- Negotiating and networking with external recruitment agencies to ensure the company receive competitive rates
- Monitoring recruitment spend and reporting on cost savings
- Researching and recommending recruitment platforms
- Reporting on trends in the market and feeding into other HR areas such as salary and benefit reviews
- Building relationships with schools and colleges as part of the work experience programme
- Promoting Wrigleys at careers fairs and other events and developing and implementing Apprenticeships and similar recruitment programmes, including Alumni networks
- Working with the Training Principal on the trainee recruitment programme
- Implement and ensure compliance with the firm's policies and procedures
- Ensure confidentiality is respected and maintained at all times
