Job Title:

Yard / Operations Foreman

Reporting to:

Operations Manager

Job Purpose:

To take ownership of the soil processing and green waste recycling yard and machine operator management.

Key Duties:

  • Keep the green waste recycling yard clear, tidy and in good working order
  • Manage machine operators in yard
  • Maintain bagged and loose stocks of products in the yard
  • Telehandler operator
  • General yard duties
  • Management of stock levels
  • Ensuring Lorries are loaded quickly and efficiently
  • Maintaining and daily checks on plant operated
  • Health and safety of operators in and visitors to yard

Key Competencies:

  • Driving licence preferred
  • Must have telehandler experience
  • Good working knowledge of health and safety procedures
  • Able to work under own initiative but also a team player
  • Willing to muck in where needed

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent

Salary:
From £15.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • 10 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Worthing, BN12 6NZ: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
