Role
Reporting to Production manager you will be responsible for building installations on vehicle based conversions.
The role will incorporate new installations, upgrades, repairs and decommissioning.
Your work will be to a high standard with a high degree of accuracy employing a right first-time philosophy
Responsibilities
- Make and installs body panels
- Make and installs interiors, trim, hoods and other components
- Follow engineering drawings
- Follow manufactures installation instructions
- Operate hand tools correctly
- Operate power tools correctly
- Undertake Repairs
- Interpret reported defects and rectify
- Assess serviceability and safety
- Completed work to the highest standard
- Customer site visits as required
- Site visit reports
- Identify and raising quality issues
- Minimum 40 hours per week
- Overtime as required
- Over night stays, weekend work, evening work as required
- Adheres to Health & Safety regulations
- Daily cleans, tidies and organises all areas of the workshop
- Any other work as requested by management that they deem suitable

- Experience within the automotive industry preferable
- Ability to read and understand engineering plans and technical drawings
- Ability to work in a changing environment

Qualifications
- NVQ / SVQ Level 3 Apprenticeship
- Traditional coach building or joiner apprenticeship
- Suitable experience 4 year
