Citi's Global Regulator Engagement function brings consistency and clarity to the way we work at Citi and our approach to regulatory engagement globally.


This role provides a unique opportunity to see across Citi as part of the organization's Global Regulatory Engagement function which acts as trusted advisors, helping Citi to achieve excellence in our regulatory relations and common understanding of our best practices, regulatory themes and supervisory requirements.


Citi's Global Regulatory Engagement function is also responsible for establishing a globally consistent regulatory exam management and interaction governance model that includes setting minimum standards for the management of regulatory exams and interactions and governance of supervisory exam-related findings.


The EMEA Regulatory Exam Management SVP will be part of Citi's Regulatory Engagement team and will report directly to the International Head of Regulatory Exam Management.

This role will be responsible for;

  • Leading the coordination of certain regulatory engagement activities with regulators and internal stakeholders in the region, including but not limited to supervisory examinations.
  • Delivering Citi's Global Regulatory Engagement initiatives in the region with particular focus on minimum standards for the management of regulatory engagement activities, including supervisory examinations.
  • Providing guidance, training and preparation measures on handling of regulatory engagement activities to help internal stakeholders achieve excellence in regulatory relations.
  • Providing strategic advice and regular updates to management on certain regulatory engagement activities.
